I find it truly awesome that a friend of mine that I grew up with since the 4th grade has made it as far as Ryan Howard has. I thought the fact that he was playing for the Phillies was amazing enough and then he goes and get Rookie of the Year in '05, MVP in '06, and won the Home Run Derby in '06 as well. Now he's gracing the cover of an MLB The Show '08, what's left? A ring I guess.
Congrats to the man in all his accomplishments, and to think his main sport was basketball growing up.
