Halo 2 (Vista) Achievements.

Here's the list of all the new achievements for Halo 2 Vista style. Most are pretty standard but there's a few cool viral achievements that everybody's talking about: "Hired Gun" is an achievement you get for killing someone in multiplayer that has beat the single player game on "Legendary". "Flaming Ninja" you get by killing someone with the "Ninja" achievement which is: "in a non-team game, kill 5 people by melee, from behind".

So for all you Halo 2 players out there, how many achievements points should you already have and what would you still need to get?

Bungie's New Look.

Bungie.net got a revamp the other day (I wrote about it day one, but somewhere along the line the post deleted it self...) and the new site is much better. The screen above is the main page, everything now is all AJAX"y" and Web 2.0"ish", fancy if you will.

The above shot is the new layout of a match, things are just easier to read and clearer.

This is the new recent games list, you also get a little preview of any game of your choosing on the right.

This is the part that I found the most interesting, click on the picture to enlarge it so you can read the numbers... That's a lot of Fing games of Halo that I've played... And hey, my kill/death ratio is over 1.18 nice!

Hang 'em High Is Back.

Hang 'em High now to be called "Tombstone".

The craptacular map derlict, is now called "Desolation" and looks to be outdoors not in...

Well today might seem like X-Mas for some of you old skool Xbox gamers out there, these "new" maps were once touted as Xbox 360 exclusives and now will work even for you cheap asses Xbox 1 owners. Hang 'em has been the most requested map since Halo 2 has been out, and I'm sure this will come to great fanfare, now as for derlict... Not so much. I remember playing it after we got board as hell with the other maps for the night but that was about it. In my opinion, they should have picked: Damnation, Rat Race, Chill-Out, or Prisoner. Now since this will no doubt be the last map pack made for H2, some of my fav's might show up in H3 which would be awesome.

This brings me to my next point, which is that Bungie originally stated that these new maps were going to be a 360 exclusive because they were going to be usable in Halo 3 as well as in Halo 2... So is this no longer true? Will they only be H2 levels now? We will see on April 17th.
